Hans Wehr (Arabic Almanac)

The Hans Wehr app is a digital version of the famous Arabic-English Hans Wehr dictionary. You can search through the dictionary by using the root letter of the word and the app will display the corresponding page from the Hans Wehr dictionary.

This app was developed to aid students of the Arabic language in their noble pursuit. This app will remove the need of carrying around a bulky dictionary and replace it with the convenience of your smartphone. Now you have access to all the same information but at the comfort of your fingertips.

The dictionary can be searched using an Arabic keyboard, or if you do not have an Arabic keyboard the dictionary can be searched using roman (English) letters which have an Arabic equivalent. To search just simply enter the root letters of the word and click search. You can navigate through the pages of the dictionary by swiping left and right. (See the About section in the app for more details).

To enable offline mode please open the Settings page and download the necessary files. The app provides quick access features to check the verb forms and the Roman to Arabic letter conversion. If you are experiencing difficulties with the app crashing when trying to enable offline mode, then please uninstall the app and download the latest update which fixes this issue.

At the moment only the Hans Wehr (Arabic-English) dictionary is supported, but we are working on releasing other dictionaries as well.

التطبيق هانز فير هو نسخة رقمية من قاموس اللغة الإنجليزية هانز فير الشهيرة. يمكنك البحث من خلال القاموس باستخدام حرف جذر الكلمة وسوف التطبيق عرض الصفحة المقابلة من القاموس هانز فير.

وقد تم تطوير هذا التطبيق لمساعدة الطلاب للغة العربية في سعيها النبيل. وهذا التطبيق يزيل الحاجة إلى تحمل نحو القاموس ضخمة ويحل محله مع راحة من الهاتف الذكي الخاص بك. الآن لديك حق الوصول إلى كافة المعلومات نفسها ولكن في راحة يديك.

القاموس يمكن البحث باستخدام لوحة المفاتيح العربية، أو إذا لم يكن لديك لوحة مفاتيح عربية القاموس يمكن البحث باستخدام الرومانية (اللغة الإنجليزية) الرسائل التي لها ما يعادل العربية. للبحث ببساطة أدخل الحروف جذر الكلمة ثم انقر البحث. يمكنك التنقل من خلال صفحات القاموس عن طريق تمرير اليسار واليمين. (راجع قسم عنها في التطبيق لمزيد من التفاصيل).

لتمكين وضع غير متصل بالشبكة الرجاء فتح صفحة الإعدادات وتحميل الملفات الضرورية. ويقدم التطبيق ميزات وصول سريع للتحقق من أشكال الفعل والروماني إلى بريد إلكتروني تحويل العربية. إذا كنت تواجه صعوبات في تحطمها التطبيق عند محاولة تمكين وضع غير متصل بالشبكة، ثم الرجاء إلغاء تثبيت التطبيق وتحميل التحديث الأخير الذي يحدد هذه المسألة.

في الوقت الحالي معتمد فقط القاموس هانز فير (عربي-إنجليزي)، ولكن نحن نعمل على إطلاق القواميس الأخرى كذلك.
